Kindness Matters is a value of Tyngsborough Public Schools and was adopted by JTF for collaboration with elementary school students.
In January of 2024, JTF and TPS partnered on an awareness campaign directed at kids to promote inclusion among students and their peers. In an effort to drive educational values, the partnership led to a t-shirt design contest that saw incredible submissions by more than 200 students from grades 2-4.
After review, the winner's design was placed on a limited edition t-shirt and sold with 100% of the proceeds directly impacting JTF’s mission to create independence in the lives of those living with SCI. 50 shirts were printed and sold out at events throughout 2024.
As an educational initiative, the Kindness Matters project was a way to inform kids on injury prevention and awareness, while promoting inclusion for those with all types of disabilities. Thank you to Tyngsborough Elementary School for their support in making this collaboration possible!
